My Trip to Europe in 1926

I didn't want to go to Europe, but nobody asked me... when you are four years old, you don't have much to say about it.
Look what I was leaving behind in New York. The Forest Hills season was just starting.

I also liked playing ball... but this park wouldn't let me.  That's why I'm scowling.

My mother, Ellen, my Aunt Nita, and I headed for the dock in Manhattan to board the ss President Roosevelt. It was November 23, 1926.

Join us at the dock.
