Mayor Alioto's Earthquake Party
April 18, 1969

In the middle of the image at left,  Adolfo Veronese is listening to his wife, the mayor's daughter, Angela.

Mayor Alioto is standing at center with the papers. To his left is Angelina Alioto, his wife. I'm in front of Angelina and in front of me, Senator Milton Marks is being interviewed.
To the Mayor's right is former State Senator Thomas Maloney. Tommy was a little unhappy when he learned Alioto's party would replace the South of Market Boys' annual event at Lotta's Fountain. Alioto made him co-chairman and Tommy's event got a lot of national publicity.
To the left of Tommy is Vernon Kaufman, Alioto's right hand man, and a great guy.
At the far left is the Mayor's son Joseph. Next to him Adolpho Veronese is leaning over to his wife, Angela, the Mayor's daughter. Her brother-in-law Renzo Veronese is next to her.
Next to Joseph in the dark jacket, I believe, is Ray Syufy, who helped us get the movie, "San Francisco."
