This
booklet was published by Pastor Charles Wesley Burns of the First Methodist Church.
It helped raise funds for the
reconstruction of the church, which was totally destroyed.

involved principally Estado (State Street) properties, churches, schools, and
the dwellings of the poor, especially old adobes. Damage on Estado Street,
$8,000,000; in the entire business district, $10,000,000; in residential
neighborhoods, including churches, schools, hospitals, and city and county
